     I just got my md802 all system and updated to 4.01 software. first vehicle 1999 Mercedes clk320, was able to communicate with engine module only all others results in no communication, I tried the 16 pin and 38 pin connector using obdii and auto detect function , input vin # and still no communication. I THOUGHT  this tool is supposed to read at least air bag codes . second vehicle 2011 Chevrolet cruz can scan engine codes and get live data, when trying to scan bcm or other modules for codes it works but will not let me get into  live data, it will freeze up trying to establish communication.. This product is letting me down. I hope they have a fix for this.

     how much of the update did you do all or just part and did you use 4gb or bigger card if all on 4gb card my be to much for card all updates puts it over 4gb plus have heard update to 4gb card looses sum older cars and sum other functions because of it small size

     I used the 4gb card that came with the scanner, but only update the files that i needed including mercedes and gm so still have room left , this problem happened before I updated the scanner , I thought updating will help but nothing so far.

     could be a corrupted card that came with 802 for the cost of bigger card may put problem right and be able to down load all.

    my 4gb card shows 3.57 used but pc shows down load as 2.85gb with all updates on 8gb card shows 5.80gb used but pc said its only 3.87 at that the one I have is all systems the 4 systems will use less space

     I got a 16gb card ,but how will I recover the loss data if that is what happened during the first update,will I get all the data back when I update my new 16gb card or where will I get it from?

     update the new card is it an SDHC with all off the update 16gb will be fine for later updates but the update looses some older dater ie cars after updating new card and its WORKING fine email autel but don't hold your breath and ask for lost dater off 4gb card or if possible I will send you the dater then wipe 4gb card and install but you will have to authenticate card through the update service with out down loading any of the updates then keep 4gb card for older cars if need be or if you corrupt 16gb card hope that helps

     I updated my new SDHC card with all the files, I still cant get any data from any other modules except engine module, I can get to read the codes on some of them but no data , and this are new vehicles 2006 and up. anyway this is my email RYAN92002@AOL.COM so you can send me the other data that I'm missing.

    Is this the same problem before and after the update, if same problem maybe your scan tool is the problem.  Is your 802 all systems or just 4 systems?

    I updated my 16gb card and still doing the same problem , before and after the update. I have an Autel MD802 Elite Mxidiag Diagnostic Tool Scanner Code Graphing OBDII All System. If the scanner is the problem, what can I do next? I bought  it on 2/16/14 from autel us authorized distributor.

     Sorry but trying to help you putting things in bold is classed as shouting!  You have a years warranty on the device try calling Autel USA direct, giving them your problem and your serial number, hopefully they will be able to help solve your problem.  If they cant I would suggest taking it back to the authorised distributor and having it replaced.  By giving Autel your serial number they will be able to tell you whether its all systems or 4 systems, this has been done before where a dealer has given 802 out and it hasn't been the right model ie: all systems has been a 4 systems.  I have heard of one supposed 802 which was a 701 with an 802 sd card.my email will not let me send the file for some resin.
